Happy Groundhog's Day! It turns out that Pickle and I were the winners on the prediction chart ( If you listen to Puxatony Phil.) Tomato Papa predicted he would see his shawdow, but good old Phil did not see it this year. That means we can look forward to Spring soon, right? I'm not holding my breath.
To wrap up our Groundhog festivities, Pickle and I made Groundhog on a stick with some materials I had around the house. We cut a toilet paper tube in half and colored it. Then I cut two circles out of brown felt and glued them on a craft stick. Add some eyes, nose and ears and you have a very cute Phil look alike.
